Job aids are a great resource for learners to reference a key takeaway from a training. They're especially helpful when learners are needing to remember processes or vocabulary.

Purpose

The job aid found below shows the steps needed to create a self-directed learning plan. This is to help managers remember how to support their staff.

Process and Tools Used

I pulled out the key points from the full training that were most important for learners to remember to create this job aid. I kept it as concise as possible while still including all pertinent information. I also used Mayer's 12 Principles of Multimedia Learning to choose intentional and meaningful graphics and wording. I chose Canva to create this job aid because of its flexibility and automatic updates once shared to I can easily make changes if needed.
